Elizabeth Kenworthy Farrar

Elizabeth Kenworthy Farrar has twenty years of balanced
professional experience in non-profit management, fundraising,
health care business operations, human resources, private law
practice and public speaking. She is an experienced and qualified
neutral. Ms. Farrar is a Rule 31 Listed Family and General Civil Mediator.
Prior to joining Settlement Solutions, Ms. Farrar was the
Executive Director for the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf for
five years. She was the Senior Vice President, Human Resources
with TBN of TN, Inc., Director of Personnel Services for The Alpha
Corporation of Tennessee and a Human Resources/TLA Specialist with
FedEx Corporation. She also held the positions of National
Director of Americans with Disabilities Act Services with
HealthSouth Corporation and General Manager Ti-State Rehab & Case
Management Inc. She practiced law at Bowling, Bowling, Parker &
Laughlin and Thomason, Hendrix, Harvey, Johnson, Mitchell,
Blanchard & Adams.
Ms. Farrar has completed 46 hours of ADA mediation training. She has received special training in mortgage foreclosure mediation and in arbitration. She
has over 250 hours of continuing legal education in the areas of
non-profit legal issues, labor and employment law, legal ethics,
worker's compensation and employee benefits. She served on the
Board of Directors for Samaritan Counseling Center, Memphis House
Inc. (Memphis Recovery Center) and Better Business Bureau. In law
school she was selected by the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission and the Memphis State School of Law to serve as Summer
Intern.
